Dr. Margolin does not listen, does not pay attention when filling out paperwork so now it's incomplete and an even bigger issue, he literally GOOGLES things in front of patients... I once asked him to switch a prescription to a different brand, and he prescribed the exact same brand medication. Very unprofessional, incompetent, and rude.
I really like this Dr. He actually listens to me. He doesn't just give me the once over and shove me out the door. As far as bashing the staff, I have had no problems with them and found them to be helpful to me in dealing with a work related issue. I've not had to wait long, but I have been told he can't see me for a few weeks, but that happened only once.
I would definitely recommend him.
I originally came to this doctor for help with my mother. She was going to a care clinic in Antioch that had a doctor's name all over it but the actual doctor was never there. My mother is on medicaid and is physically and mentally disabled. I switched to Margolin because the reviews online seemed pretty decent and figured I'd actually get some advice for my mother. Every single visit including the first time I came here has been a rude experience. The staff is pretty decent but at times lack attention to detail. The last few times I've been here I've had the wrong phone number and address on her account and I mean not even close to what her information. When I see the actual doctor he's always rude, never ,makes eye contact. When I ask him questions he always is abrupt and seems disinterested. My mother can't speak for her health because of her mental condition so when I ask about things I'm concerned about he blows it off. Even one time told me "if it's not bothering her, leave it the hell alone." I asked him about getting a medical report and possibly getting guardianship for my mother and what the medical process is and basically told me "I don't know your lawyer will tell you" which is inaccurate since we are talking about MEDICAL advice and said he would fill out "whatever report" and shrugged off the remainder of my questions. When my mother says something out of the ordinary he gives her weird looks and doesn't do anything to hide his dissatisfaction. Overall, really unprofessional, rude and don't see how other people here would recommend him. After 3 visits, I haven't seen the "always helpful, answers all questions", nice and professional" guy that people have reviewed here. In fact it's those reviews the bamboozled me into coming to this office in the first place. Can't help but to wonder if it's because my mother is on medicaid. Every single doctor that I have dealt with while she's been on medicaid including the ER doctors have disregarded her completely and never help me with any questions I have about her health. Margolin is no different.
Very nice Dr. He listens to everything I said. Very caring. I needed referrals and he gave me them in 1 visit. I would recommend him to everyone.
Arrogant and he needs to learn to put his ego aside and go back to medical school on a personal note he is not a person with values and morals ..
This doctor margolin is overbooked and uninterested I had high cortisol levels he said he knew nothing about that that's a pretty basic issue with any patient...
As for the staff. They are very nice.
